About Paul Bombig
Paul Bombig (Bom) is an accomplished independant singer\songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. He has toured the United States of America and Canada twice, played Berlin and London, and toured nationally in Australia. With tons of charisma and just as much talent, Bom has been rocking the Melbourne music scene for 15 years, has worked with producers in LA (David Snow), had his publishing signed to Warner Chappell, Origin pacific, Alberts & Co. (Sydney) and now BMG Australia. He has released 4 E.P.s, and has now released his debut album “Atomic Rage”. As a vocalist/multi-instrumentalist he has recently completed his Bachelor of Music at the Australian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Masters of Education (Music) at the University of Melbourne and has studied at V.C.A, The Melba Memorial Conservatorium, and the University of South Australia (Humanities).
Bom’s acoustic shows are explosive pure energy and passion both lyrically and emotionally. Not just an average songwriter, his lyrics cover political issues as well as everyday stories; Bom has written for plays and cabarets (Mayhem Productions), short films (Rupert Owen Films), and written songs for individual artists like Miss K. With the help of two other writers, Gavin D’Monte and Jamie Stanton, he has a multitude of talent and great songs to choose from; it will be a difficult task to limit his debut album to 15 tracks!
” Da Bom’s path through rock has been driven by integrity and a fierce desire to succeed on his terms. And in rock, nothing is more alluring. While there have been pitfalls and struggles on the tour bus, there is no copy-cat game here. Just an authentic artist who writes from his big heart and sounds exactly like himself… “ David Juriansz, Red Beard Music.
